It is not only a thrill for me to attend, it is also a source of inspiration for me and therefore I am truly honored to invite all of you – from your delegations and representatives from your armed forces to participate and send representatives to this extraordinary exhibition and conference and see how Israel is profoundly contributing to the security of the entire world on a daily basis”
Deputy Director General at The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yael Ravia-Tzadok, shared her passionate views regarding international cooperation:
“Defense, Homeland and Cyber security are important and crucial fields for cooperation – both commercially and G2G. And we, with our 103 embassies and consulates all over the world, are here to serve and support the defense-related industries and the Israeli defense industry ecosystem, and to build robust relationships with like-minded countries. ISDEF is a great platform for cooperation, introductions and for making good business. We hope to see you all here again in June”
Former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the IDF, Major General (Ret.), Yair Golan, sums up the event:
“I would like for you all to see this event as a fantastic and great opportunity. An opportunity for learning that I can assure you all, cannot be found or achieved anywhere else. Case in point, just now, a mere 10 minutes ago in the foyer outside this very lecture hall, I had the opportunity to learn a few new things and explore concepts with some of my former counterparts, and that is precisely the whole idea of this exhibition, to meet each other to discuss our common goals and the common desire to invest in our common security. I am calling on you all directly, please come in large numbers to the exhibition and conference in June because it is so important for our future to continue with renewed defense and security cooperation.”
Managing Director of ISDEF, Jonas Zolkén had this to say a number of days after the cocktail reception:
“The event was a huge success thanks to our wonderful speakers and guests. We would like to take this opportunity to reiterate the importance of attending ISDEF 2019 and promoting security cooperation and knowledge exchange between nations in the pursuit of a safe and secure homeland and the fight to destroy international terrorism. If you have yet to secure your participation for ISDEF 2019 or if you believe that you have a relevant topic to present, we encourage you to reach out to us”
The 10th-anniversary edition of ISDEF will take place on June 4-6, 2019 at Expo Tel Aviv International Convention Center, Pavilion 2. ISDEF 2019 is set to be the largest defense, homeland security and cyber exhibition ever held in Israel.
